Blenio Delicacies & Bistro

Peter Bruschi & Paula Black

It’s three years since Blenio Bistro began offering gastronomy with a Gallic twist in Seven Dials and over that time has established itself as a favourite of many Brightonians. And they’re not the only ones to recognise the achievement – Blenio Bistro is proud to be listed in the Michelin Guide for 2010 & 2011, also having been mentioned in the Guardian newspaper and Tatler magazine – Blenio Bistro is also one of the highest rated Brighton restaurants on Top table.

Chef Pete Bruschi’s excellent culinary history started with his Roux Brother apprenticeship in the eighties, followed by pâtisserie perfection at Le Notre and seasons in Switzerland and Paris.

His partner Paula ensures the front-of-house ambiance & attention to detail is always warm and welcoming. After the couples success and move from the well-regarded Right on the Green restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, they have settled into Brighton life & operate a chic, fun and friendly bistro without sacrificing the high standards they have developed over the years.

In 1999 they bought their first restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, "Right on the Green", where their delivery of fine food and hospitality won them awards, accolades and a shining reputation. In search of a bigger project and a change of lifestyle they sold up in 2004 and after a three-year search they are now delighted to open the doors to their new all-day bistro, Blenio Bistro at Seven Dials.
